Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Transfer from Arusha to Serengeti. Game drive / village walk in the evening.
Day one of your short wildlife tour involves traveling to Serengeti National Park. This will be after you have had a heavy breakfast at a hotel in Arusha Town. Drive via Ngorongoro Crater while enjoying the breathtaking landscape of the countryside in a 4WD. Later in the afternoon after lunch, go for a quick game drive for you to explore different wildlife species within the central Serengeti.
Alternatively, you may decide to visit the neighboring communities /villages, mix and mingle, explore what they do for a living, visit various craft workshops, and in the evening you can retire back to the lodge for refreshments and a night stay.
Day 2: Long day game drive
Have a heavy breakfast and after, embark on an extensive game drive in Serengeti. This ushers you into the park’s magical savannas with opportunity to see millions of the wildebeests, thousands of Thomson gazelles, zebras. It also allows you sight topis, impalas, elephants, buffaloes, elands, birds, giraffes to mention but a few.
Interestingly, expect to enjoy good sight of leopards, cheetahs, jackals, aardwolf, hyenas, lions. Get back to the lodge in Serengeti for refreshments, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Sunrise game drive & drive back to Arusha Tanzania
You will have an early morning breakfast and later, go for yet another memorable game drive. You will capture sight of diverse wildlife including those you didn’t come across during the previous day’s game drive. Later, connect back to Arusha for drop off to a hotel or airport.
